Hi there,

Thanks for dropping by.

The first books I read were The Sword Of Shanara trilogy, by Terry Brooks ... and I was hooked! You can still get the series today.

Our little family has seen a bit of the world, and our travel memories stay strong within me. We now live on the far north coast of New South Wales. Some mornings we can hear the Pacific Ocean as the surf roars in up the beach.

Years ago my freelance editor suggested my voice suited romance writing. I'd read plenty of them on the train, and not in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be capable of writing one. But with her help, we wrote, Found One Lover, which won the Romance Writers of Australia Emma Darcy award in 2000. And in 2008, going solo now, I came 3rd in the Charter Oak Romance Writers Golden Acorn Excellence In Writing Contest.

Fast forward 12 years:

Hooray for Chief Editor, Kate Cuthbert at Escape Publishing.

My 3rd book set in the country town of Tumble Creek is about Takumi and Adele, tentatively titled, Promises In Tumble Creek. If you've read Tumble Creek, Brock and Sofie's story, you're probably wondering  what happened to Britt. If I told you there wouldn't be a mystery. :-)

More stories waiting in the wings are: Aurelia (nearly finished) -- The Portrait (finished, but needs a freshen up) Not On Your Bike -- The Dating Dare, which are ideas running around cluttering up my brain.

I love to write edgy romance with a touch of humour, suspense and mystery. I also enjoy writing the hero's honest, straightforward point of view.

Thanks for taking a moment to read my bio. I love to hear from readers, just drop me a line on the contact page, leave your contact info and I'll write back.

Stay safe.

Happy reading.

Cheers Louise xx
